Home Sweet Home

Well, we're back! We did have a good trip. Christopher and I made it to Starbucks. I went to the Apple Store like 4 times (and didn't buy a thing!). Lydia, Christopher, and I went to Atlanta Christian College (my and Janet's alma mater) one day. Got to connect with some old friends and professors. And yes I showed the kids the place of my and Janet's first kiss. There is a statue there commemorating the event! It did rain one day, which was awesome, because THEY NEED THE RAIN! Lydia got to shop at Macy's. The only negative of the trip was seeing all the Georgia Bulldog stuff. I even heard a mom telling her son to bark like a dog in the mall! Talk about child abuse! We Clemson fans are so much more refined!

We did miss our church friends and family. Spent a lot of time praying, thinking, and planning for the New Year. The more I think and pray, the more excited I get about the year ahead of us. This is going to be a tremendous year of growth and opportunity. Ready to put those ideas on paper tomorrow at our Creative Team planning meeting. Anyway, it's great to be home. No matter where you go, how great the experience, there's just no place like your bed, your shower, and your home!
