Who Let the D.O.G.S Out?

I am so proud of our Coastal Kidz! Coastal Kidz is the 1st-5th Grade Ministry at Coastal. They have a Sunday night program that meets about once a month on Sunday nights called D.O.G.S (Depending on God). Well on Friday night they had a Midnight Bash at the church - 7PM - midnight. 30 kids showed up! They ate pizza, played games, listened to a devotion, went on a Bible scavenger hunt, watched a movie, and did a craft. The reason I am proud is because I think just about every child invited and a brought a friend! They really set a great example for our adults. It was also a great night because of all the volunteers who served and made it possible. And not just Teresa, Twila, Ryan, and Janet, but several of our teenagers worked very hard. And from what I could tell, we had a lot of parents who took advantage of the event and went shopping - or more importantly went on a date!
