Coastal Community Church is a non-denominational church. We are distinctly Christian in our beliefs and doctrines, holding to the Bible as our primary guide for faith and practice. People who attend Coastal come from a variety of denominational backgrounds and many have never been to church before or are returning to church. We are old and young, married and single, growing in ethnic and economic diversity and our mission is to bring glory to God by growing a biblically healthy spiritual family of fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. During all three services Coastal provides an excellent ministry for children (Birth – 5th grade) called Promiseland. They will hear Bible lessons presented in an interactive, creative way so they'll be able to apply those eternal truths to their daily lives. Click here for more information about Promiseland.

We want you to come just like you are. Feel free to dress casually, there's no need to get all "fancied up" just to come, unless you just really enjoy getting dressed up. You'll notice that everyone is dressed comfortably, in anything from "office casual" to jeans and sneakers to shorts and flip flops.
The answer is simply No, No, and No! We're not in the business of pressuring people. We always encourage people to participate in our service, but you won't have to wear a sign saying, "I'm a visitor!" or anything like that. However, whenever you are ready and feel comfortable doing so, we do have a connect card that we'd like for you to fill out so we can get to know you better as you are getting to know us.
The worship at Coastal is alive and authentic - a celebration! Music is a powerful tool, and God has blessed us with a truly gifted band and worship leader who know how to lead people in a transformational experience through music. Each week you will experience songs that bring you to the heart of what it means to worship God through music.
During each service we celebrate Communion. Communion (also known as the Lord's Supper) is a Christian celebration of the self-sacrifice of Jesus Christ. If you are a Christian, you're welcome to share in communion with us, and if not, you can just sit back and enjoy the music during this quiet time. You'll notice several 'communion stations' set up around the auditorium. During communion, you are welcome walk to one of the stations with your friends and family or by yourself. We simply take turns and then return to our seats.
After the service, if you have children in Promiseland, you'll pick up your children from their classrooms, and then we hope you'll stay around and meet some people. Church is about God and worship, but it's also about community and fellowship, so we hope you will really experience the warmth and friendliness of our gatherings.
