The Ministries of Coastal

Coastal's ministry to children Nursery through 12 Grade on Sunday mornings is called Promiseland. Promiseland provides a safe, fun, and exciting atmosphere where children can learn about a relationship with God. For more information contact Promiseland leaders Janet Rollins or Teresa Spell. If you are planning on attending Coastal soon, you can fill out a registration form for your child online and send it in now.

Our Church calendar lists scheduled dates for those serving in Promiseland. If you cannot serve on the date specified on the Calendar and decide to swap dates with someone, please notify Janet Rollins so that the proper changes can be made to the Service Calendar.

Praise & Worship Team

At Coastal, we believe that one of the purposes of the church is worship. Our style is contemporary. But there is something more important than music style. We regularly say that we want to see people "engage" in worship. In other words, we want to see people actually experiencing the presence of God as they pour out their hearts to His heart in a personal way. Those on the Praise & Worship Team are committed to leading our church in this process. Sound & Media Team

Striving to stay culturally relevant in communicating the Gospel is the purpose of this ministry. Sound boards, video projectors, computers and the internet are their tools. If you are interested in getting involved or learning more about this ministry please contact Twila or Ryan Sabin.

L T.E.A.M. (Women's Ministry)
Our Women's Ministry is actively involved in seeing the five purposes of the church (worship, fellowship, ministry, discipleship, and evangelism) become a reality in the every day lives of women through many different events, groups, and activities. If you are interested in learning more about this Ministry or getting involved, please contact us.

Our Mission:
"To connect women to God, to the church, to one another, to the community, and to service, in order to become more fully devoted followers of Christ."

Prayer Team
Coastal believes in the power of prayer. Once a month, at our First Wednesday service, (7:00 pm the first Wednesday of every month), Coastal gathers to pray for our church, our community, and one another. We also have an active Prayer Chain to pray for the needs of our church family. If you are interested in this ministry or have a need that we can pray for, please contact Prayer Team Leader Prisca Denton.

Missions
Coastal is interested in taking the gospel of Jesus Christ to our community and to the world. Locally, we regularly purchase, prepare, and serve meals at the Crisis Ministries family shelter. If you and/or your small group is interested in serving a meal at the shelter, please contact Tom Macklin, or check the shelter's online calendar to see what dates work for your group.

We also support Operation Christmas Child, Star Gospel Mission, as well as summer mission trips. Anyone interested in learning more about this ministry or volunteering your time, please contact Pastor Chris Rollins.
